Jim is our Pastor, serving roles as preacher, teacher and servant-leader.
He grew up in South Georgia and is a third generation Presbyterian. After completing his seminary degree, he met and married his soulmate, Denise. They have served churches in Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. They have one son, Alex.
Jim expressed his ministry as one marked by joy, gratitude & inner peace. He is excited when he witnesses individuals (and congregations) grow spiritually, developing vital ministries for youth and young adults and creating space for all within the body of Christ.
His quiet enthusiasm is contagious! You might find Jim enjoying a cup of coffee in the Church Office, hiking our beautiful parks, playing golf with Church friends, or walking around downtown to meet his neighbors.
